Photo: Untitled (home) #2 (2015).
My image Untitled (home) #2 was selected as a finalist in the 2015 Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award. From the website : The Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award is one of the most important annual surveys of contemporary Australian photographic practice. I am so pleased and grateful to be included and encourage all in town to pop in to the Gold Coast City Gallery and see the current trends and breadth of contemporary photography in Australia.

In January 2015 I was invited to participate in the 10th International Art Workshop at the Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Bangkok. The workshop featured approx. 50 artists from around the world, plus an additional 150 or so thai artists. The workshop and its concluding exhibition ran for only five days- and with formalities (including national flags etc, opening event) the actual studio time was closer to 2 and 1/2 days. I took some new work with me on the trip as a back up but lo and behold, a new series! I had a wonderful time and big thanks to Aaron Martin and Pimpisa Tinpalit who facilitated my participation in the workshop, and of course to the many fabulous staff and students at Poh-Chang who assisted me during my time there.
